On 8 November 2025, Eagle Africa Association and the Togolese Sport for All Federation launched the 2nd edition of Blue November with a community walk through the streets of Lomé, in the presence of health and community authorities.
For the second edition of the Blue November campaign, Eagle Africa Association tried something new. To raise awareness of prostate conditions, it organized a community walk through several streets of Lomé on 8 November 2025, in partnership with the Togolese Sport for All Federation and its Maritime League.
The walk brought together a large number of residents and ended in a friendly atmosphere with the official launch ceremony of the campaign.
Authorities on board
The ceremony was attended by the representative of the Minister of Health, the representative of the World Health Organization, the representative of the mayor of the Golfe 3 municipality, traditional chiefs and officials of the Togolese Sport for All Federation. The paramount chief of Lomé, Togbui ADJALLÉ, also honored the ceremony with his presence.
The representative of the Minister of Health praised the continuity of the initiative and called on development stakeholders to support the Association. The WHO representative encouraged the Association to continue its work alongside the government and its partners.
One message: prevention
The President of the Association, Dr Eli AGBOBLI-APETSIANYI, called on the public to take prostate conditions seriously. The Executive Director, Dr Kossi AHADJI, stressed healthy behaviors and the value of early consultation: “everything starts with prevention. Prevention is better than cure.”
Question-and-answer sessions allowed the public to talk directly with the doctors present.
