Throughout the year, we create opportunities for men, families, healthcare professionals, institutions and communities to better understand the challenges surrounding men’s health.

01 — Blue November

Our Major Annual Men’s Health Campaign

Blue November is the main annual awareness and mobilization campaign of Eagle Africa Association.

The campaign focuses particularly on:

  • men’s health;
  • prostate health;
  • prevention of urological conditions;
  • andrological health;
  • the importance of appropriate medical consultation;
  • early detection when medically appropriate.

Togo • Benin • Ghana

The campaign is currently being developed in these three countries, with the ambition of progressively extending its reach across Africa.

Blue November: One month to raise awareness. A whole year to prevent.

How we take action

Campaigns and events throughout the year

02

Awareness days

We organize or support dedicated men’s health awareness days in communities, businesses, institutions and public spaces.

Activities may include:

  • conferences;
  • information sessions;
  • discussions with healthcare professionals;
  • community activities;
  • educational materials;
  • referral to appropriate health services.
03

Conferences and forums

Conferences and forums bring different stakeholders together around key men’s health issues.

They may bring together:

  • Healthcare Professionals
  • Institutions
  • Businesses
  • Associations
  • Communities
  • Media

Topics are adapted to local needs and may include prostate health, urology, andrology, prevention and male reproductive health.

04

Community campaigns

Prevention should reach people within their communities.

We develop outreach activities in:

  • communities;
  • neighborhoods;
  • businesses;
  • schools and universities where appropriate;
  • associations;
  • professional organizations;
  • public spaces.

Our goal is to make men’s health information more accessible.

05

Workplace health activities

Men spend a significant part of their lives in the workplace. We therefore seek to develop awareness programs adapted to companies and organizations.

These may include:

  • men’s health conferences;
  • information sessions;
  • internal awareness campaigns;
  • educational materials;
  • referral to qualified healthcare professionals or facilities.

Men’s health can thus become part of workplace well-being initiatives.

06

Media and digital campaigns

Media are powerful tools for health awareness.

We develop collaborations with:

  • television;
  • radio;
  • newspapers;
  • digital media;
  • social media;
  • specialized platforms.

Digital campaigns allow us to share educational content, prevention messages, testimonials and information about Association activities.

07

Prevention and early-detection activities

Where appropriate medical, organizational and regulatory conditions are in place, selected activities may be organized with qualified healthcare professionals and facilities.

These initiatives may help to:

  • raise awareness of risk factors;
  • provide information about warning signs;
  • facilitate access to medical consultation;
  • refer people to appropriate services;
  • promote earlier care when necessary.

Medical examinations and screening decisions remain the responsibility of qualified healthcare professionals.

08

Special events

  • men’s health summits;
  • scientific meetings;
  • open days;
  • community mobilization events;
